Thank you Frankfurt, Germany!
The weekend in Frankfurt where hundreds of the world’s best tattoo artists all merged under one roof was certainly a spectacle to be a part of. The Gods of Ink Tattoo Convention held at the ‘Messe Frankfurt’ was the first ever European Convention outside of the UK that Ghost Cartridges have traded at, and it will most definitely not be the last.
The calibre of work on show and being done at this show was astonishing. Tattoo artists from across the globe were out in force showcasing their skills with the needle as well as having their portfolio clients walk around the show. Healed work is just as important as fresh work so seeing so much of it at this event was great to see.
The amazing Ghost Cartridges team were on hand to showcase and demonstrate the range and quality of all our Cartridges, including Pink, Hex, Black, Blackout and the Nanos. In addition to cartridges, the team were also giving the Ghost Tattoo Co furniture plenty of the limelight. The public were able to get a real sense of how beneficial and effective this furniture range is and how helpful it can be in any tattoo studio or at any tattoo convention. Both the Armrest and Mayo Tray products were being demonstrated all weekend, showing tattoo artists their ease of use and innovation that can improve any artist’s setup.
As well as trading, the team also had plenty of time to go around and make new contacts and discuss potential distribution with further European and Global partners. Not only was this show great to see some of the worlds best tattoo artists, but it also housed many important businesses and brands for a weekend - opportunities to discuss the future was on the cards. The refreshed branding turned a few heads too! Our new horror comic book style went down very well, and many were intrigued to find out more.
Overall, our five days in Frankfurt were exceptional. There was huge interest in the products we demonstrated as well as admiration for the new brand refresh. We caught up with many old friends and made countless new ones. This past weekend has sparked curiosity at Ghost Cartridges HQ and we’re eager to experience more European conventions. The only question is… which ones do we do next?
