OUR STORY

Our second generation of cartridges were launched early 2018, following the success of its predecessor - Holy Ghost Cartridges were born. The new and improved version of our cartridges now included a safety membrane to alleviate any concerns or problems with ink back flow for our pen machine users. To differentiate from our Originals, we inverted the body colour to white offering a new look to the Ghost brand.

With Originals and Holy Ghost maintaining steady popularity in Europe, we set out to bring the community something unique. Still stacked with a safety membrane, HEX offered users something no other needle cartridge had at the time, a silicone fore-grip system.

This fore-grip was the first on the market and acted as a supportive extension to the artist's machine grip - which allowed optimum precision in their work like never before. HEX boasted a new visual chapter for Ghost, with a striking green cartridge and loud packaging that stood out in every tattoo studio.

After 3 established cartridge ranges, we then made it our goal to provide artists with both the smallest and biggest cartridge sizes - Nano and Blackout were born.

On the finer side of the scale, we observed fine-line artists required more versatility in needle groupings and gauges from single to seven liners. We reached out to some of the industry's leading fine-line and SMP artists and agreed that a needle finer than an industry-standard bugpin would broaden their potential. September 2020 saw the first box of 0.18mm Ghost Nano Tattoo Cartridges sold.

There was limited availability for Blackout artists, having to revert to traditional needles on the bar for blackout work. We stepped up to fill the void and provided these artists with the biggest cartridge sizes they'd ever seen.

Introducing bulk buy options for artists/studios so they can stay stocked up for longer with their favourite needles - saving a small fortune along the way.

We ended the year with a mild packaging refresh - the first since our launch in 2017.

A huge year for Ghost. Our first company collaboration with the game-changing tattoo furniture inventors; Ghost Tattoo Co.

With our current cartridges interior being tried and tested, we set out to improve the casing from our predecessors whilst complimenting the GTC branding. Thus came the highly anticipated Pink Ghost Cartridge. The Pink Ghost Cartridge was demanded globally from its launch, and since then Ghost has entered new markets such as North and South America. With a new generation of artist & standard moving the industry forward, we joined them.

Disposable grips were being used a lot less due to the trend of pen machines rising, so we decided to merge our Ghost Originals & Holy Ghost Cartridges to make Ghost Black - the beginning of our rebrand.

Our rebrand was massively inspired by Tattooing's love for horror - and our love for vintage comics.

We reached out to our Brazilian friend Joao, who specialises in vintage comic illustrations and crafted our new visual image. This leads us to now.
